V1.0.0.19 Beta

Post by VeloReality Video »

next update very quick explanation The exe is here if you want to test it http://veloreality.com/exs_v_ride/filez/v_ride.x64.zip

New Tab added called Multi RLV - try hitting this

click the top left button with the small arrow to select your video folder

& you should hopefully see something like this if you have some video

Image

to ride directly just click a ride, move the scroll-bar on the right to where you want to start & go for it like normal;

to make a multi ride select "new ride" at the bottom left - now you will see a bright red box at the top with a space under it called filter - just type in the first few letters of the actual ride name (example - Ven will get me the 3 Ventoux parts in the menu as I have those all, but you can leave it blank & see all your rides).

Select a video & click ok -
click "Add Video" & select the video you would like to join
Then repeat if you want to make a longer ride

When the ride is complete click Save. You now have joined some rides!

Once you have done this you can play with adjusting the start & end parts of the component videos of your new ride or use these slider bars under each separate video profile to build new rides, perhaps skipping hills or overly long descents, making any type interval session you could dream of. Maybe adding that badly needed recovery descent to the Madone! Really anything is possible.

One caveat is the tcx data will record all your jet setting travels with a red line joining the locations, obviously for a ride thats supposed to be joined this is perfect,

We are going to send out a xml file with a future update that will be placed with your video collection with all the rides that come in sections rebuilt so you dont need to do this. But if you have done this job already then you can simply delete any extra unwanted rides. This does not delete the actual video & data files.

Other new additions are

Full Screen Video with NO DATA :shock: Yes its a fact that some of us when we want to get immersed in the the films location want to just ditch the clocks & data & just enjoy a ride the way it was supposed to be ....For these riders your new favorite button is 0 on the numpad!

meanwhile in the main HUD a new display with the next 1km will give you a much more detailed view of the horrors that are about to hit you....or even where the top is so you know when to sprint that last 1km!
