Message "Retry Updating"

This morning I started VeloReality and in the space at the top right where it sometimes prompts to get a new version, it said "Retry Updating". I pressed to do this but it still came back with the same message.
The same thing happened tonight with no success in trying to update.

The message was not there yesterday.

Both yesterday and today there was a user called something like TriFoxx reported as doing 200W on Lake Como part 3. In reality he was stationary at the start of part 3 for the duration of my ride yesterday on Lake Como part 3. And still displayed as riding on Lake Como this morning and tonight. I don't know if this is connected to the message?

It was trying to get some data from website while under maintenance. All rectified by now
