Calibrate

With the new Elite Direto arriving today I've just been checking the (Jan. 18) instruction manual to remind myself about pairing the software with the trainer. The only bit I don't get is 'calibration'; "Clicking “Calibrate” button will bring you to calibration screen (spin down test). Just follow the on screen instructions." All I see is a window saying mount the turbo and start pedaling, and a 'close' button. I've tried it out, with and without clicking close, pedal away and..................well that's it really, no indication as to whether I've calibrated or not, or even if it's necessay to calibrate at all.

It is up to the trainer to support calibration over ANT FE-C protocol. Some do and some do not and yet some other have proprietary apps/utilities for calibration. So clicking "calibrate" does not guarantee actual calibration.
