Re: Whats on the way?
Just discovered a couple of new climbs from the Spain trip that I had forgot about. 1st is Calar Alto which is a very remote desert climb near Almeria which features in the very cool book "Mountain High" its been featured in the Tour of Spain. The second climb is the Porto du Tudons which ...

Re: Strava Segments
If you look at the thin colored bars under the profile often if there is a hill the top bar will be the segment for that hill (can also be say a 500m town sign sprint or a tunnel like in Lago d'Iseo for example) If its a hill or major climb there will probably be also a matching Strava segment. Any ...

Re: Video List Display Sorting
I would like to ask if it would be possible to add the capability to sort videos displayed on the Video Tab in VRide using criteria other than name order. Each displayed video has some interesting metadata associated with it that includes distance, altitude gain, distance uphill, average gradient, ...

Re: Stuttering video
1. Any idea when 4k videos will be released? I would expect something before next winter 2. Will existing videos be re-released in 4k? No these are mastered at either 2K or HD they can be released with a lossless level of compression at about the same size as regular "compressed" 4K &...

Re: Newbie questions (connectivity and turbo trainer itself)
On the Vortex we rode these at 23 plus km/h where as in reality we rode more like 8-10 Km/h. One the Bushido Smart our virtual climb times are within a minute or 2 of our real ride times. Both my wife and I consider the Bushido Smart to be close to real life gradient emulation for the climbs we hav...

Re: How is elevation gain calculated?
In Veloreality software, you can see a accurate elevation gain for the full ride under the profile on the left side . There is also a elevation gain for a the selected part of the ride (from where you want to start if you move the slider bar until the end of the video) on the right side.

Re: Stuttering video
Here is an update. No antivirus, no usb drive used. Created a separate drive , copied one video to it, same exact problem. Tried to stop as many processes running in the background. There are dozens of them when i look at them in Task Manager. This is difficult to do as there is no way to know what...

Re: Was a new filming vehicle used for 0073_ES-Almeria?
Thats good to hear, I was worried as its something a little new, by this spring the camera will lean gently into the corners & there should be even less movement. The camera will also track the corners much better...so overall it will be as close to real as you can get. Its a special filming bi...

Re: Was a new filming vehicle used for 0073_ES-Almeria?
I just rode the newly released 0073_ES-AlmeriaCoastRoad today and was impressed by what appears to be a slight difference in what I thought was the point of view of the camera. The camera seemed to be mounted in such a way as to give a closer point of view to the right hand side of the road - almos...
