Re: My thoughts on veloreality

And you can choose where you want to start to ride. So you're not forced to always start from the beginning. So a video can serve multiple ride types ie. easy spin - just choose the flatter section, wanna practice climbing - choose the uphills/climb section.

My thoughts on veloreality

Rode a complete 14km Oude Kwaremont (came free with the purchase of another velo video). I really like it. It's probably how i do my cycling - i'm not a racer - just pretty much a grinder. And i need something like the VR videos to keep the legs spinning and working. It's rather refreshing to see al...

Re: how do i pace myself on a video?

I tried the ride again - completed the brownish/orange colored bar and pressed reset ride and rode it again and now got the avatar - so the ride is only saved for the duration of the brownish bar (?). On another video I then tried riding parts of the brownish bar and stopped, reset...

how are the rides created?

How is the ride created - are the resistance hard coded by hand? the resistance is set manually by looking at the video? Or does it depends on GPS readings of altitude etc. There were moments when the video and resistance did not match - i could tell the road was ascending but the software was provi...

Recommend my first video

How do people choose the videos - by the scenery, hills vs flats or even distance? Can you recommend which should be my first video? I've just gotten a Wahoo Kickr to improve my cycling. Initially I was tempted to go for the climbing ones but realised that all climbing can be quite tedious (and bori...
