Re: Sugestion

And Keith you're quite right, to find someone to ride with you need to find someone who has done all of the above AND bought the same film as you from a library of 100.

Re: Sugestion

Petersburg's pretty good IMO though a contrasting ride in a different visual environment would help perhaps. I bet VR loose an awful lot to potential customers because the whole download app, sign up, download film, get license, find riders process is really awkward and nonintuitive. That's a shame ...

Re: Strava Error on Starting a Ride Part Way Through

I'm certain a did a reset before the second ride because I also did some warm ups between the 2 rides that made their own TCX files. You're welcome to look at my system but first, since you know your code, could it be that if a rider uses the slider to start a ride part way through a file the app do...

Re: Cadence Counting Around 50% When Climbing

OK so Vortex doesn't really count cadence, it guesses it? Wow. (Though I did wonder how it could count it without a crank sensor).

Re: Cadence Counting Around 50% When Climbing

I'll do an stricter emulation on Zwift and see what happens and let you know. My experience is still that Zwift was about right and VR was seriously undercounting, which makes me thing the trainer is not the problem. If you will be comparing with Zwift make sure you ride under the same conditions (r...

Loops

From http://veloreality.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=180 "a) The ride wraps and starts the beginning, except special loop ride like our Paterberg demo" That's good news as I like using Paterburg as a multi-loop 'crit' trainer with just a single TCX output. Which other VR rides are cod...

Re: Strava Error on Starting a Ride Part Way Through

I sent you the file, what does it show and is Strava showing what's in the file?

What Strava's showing is not what I did, so either the TCX file is wrong or Strava is wrong.

I started a new ride from 18n into the film, it was not a continuation.

Re: Spurious purple square 'avatar' icon

I was going to ask the same question. I'm not sure I totally understand the answer or point of it, but never mind at least we now know.

Strava Error on Starting a Ride Part Way Through

A couple of days ago I did the first 40% of Ventoux 1, the Strava is here: https://www.strava.com/activities/447844151 Today I started up the app, picked the film, and wound through to maybe a couple of hundred of metres before the first stop point, then I rode the rest of the film, the Strava is he...
