Re: How is elevation gain calculated?
I've noticed in Garmin connect that when diabling the elevation option, the elevation gain (top right of the stats) then shows the correct elevation gain from the tcx file, but the garmin elevation chart still shows their data (i.e. not the data in the tcx file). I have this same issue when uploadin...

I'm just getting this one and will plan on riding it tomorrow morning starting somewhere between 1000 and 1100 UK time if others are around

Re: Wednesday Race 7Pm GMT
Hi, it was great to see others on the ride :-) I'm not sure I'm the best for a group ride at the moment as I;m trying to follow some form of training programme, so one minute I'll be at FTP, the next in Zone 1/2. Happy though to try one of the climbs as a group one day - maybe Sa Colobra or Corsica ...

Re: Wednesday Race 7Pm GMT
Hi Gordo, I'm close to London so am on GMT.
I can ride later rather than mornings, especially Sunday - I notice tonight there are more riders than when I road earlier today

Re: Wednesday Race 7Pm GMT
Hi all, I'll try and join the wednesday ride as I'm trying to stick to Wed, Sat and Sun rides - timing can be a bit of a challenge for me with everything else going one so I'll see what is already happening and try to join the ride. Do people have a fave to ride (I currently have the Majorca and Uta...

analysing rides
I'm new to veloreality having been using Tacx TTS4 for the past 3 years. What do people recommend for analysing the rides in Veloreallty? I don't have Strava, but do have Garmin connect and importing the VR rides from the tcx files does not seem to go in correctly. The power creates a saw tooth effe...

Re: VRide network status
Many Thanks - I've reset the hub and lowered the security - all seems to be good now. I tried setting the port for a single IP address but that didn't work (probably the hub!)
Looking forward to riding with someone else soon

Re: VRide network status
Thanks - I've had a play and the problem is linked to my hub router firewall - if I switch the firewall off or set it to Low Protection everything works fine. I'm not sure what the risk of doing this is though so will do some more research on the hub and any exposures it could have by setting a lowe...
